MAAH Stone Book Award
Prize for writing on African American History and Culture. The Museum of African American History Stone Book Award encourages scholarship and writing within the field of African American history and culture by awarding a $50,000 winning prize and two $10,000 finalist prizes for exceptional adult non-fiction books written in a literary style
Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound School
Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound’s core mission is to build stronger, more equitable school communities by delivering free experiential learning programs that boost academic success and foster personal growth.
Handel and Haydn Stone Fellowship
Fellowship for musicians pursuing careers in period instrument performance of Baroque and Classical music. A first of its kind among period-instrument orchestras, the Fellowship will foster the development of early-career musicians whose socio-cultural identities have been historically underrepresented in the field.
EMK Stone Social Impact Forum
The Stone Social Impact Forum is an annual series that features bold civic change agents who demonstrate various pathways to tackle inequality, advance social change, and inspire all people to be civically active. The Forum is a joint initiative of the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate and the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation. Past speakers include Geoffrey Canada, President of the Harlem Childen’s Zone; Nicholas Kristoff, NY Times Columnist; Catherine Coleman Flowers, founder of the Center for Rural Enterprise and Environmental Justice; and Dr. Carey Wright, former State Superintendent, Mississippi.

The School on the Move Prize spotlights the most notable school-wide improvement efforts happening across Boston Public Schools by awarding the $100,000 School on the Move Prize to one of the most improved Boston Public Schools.
